What
is a Christian?
A seeker
is someone who is on a spiritual journey that desires to get a better view or perspective on life. Jesus
Christ came to earth to show us what God is like and how His Father wants to have a relationship with us. Jesus demonstrated
his love for us by dying on the cross for our sins so that our sins would be wiped out before the very presence of God. The
only step we must take in our spiritual journey is to invite Jesus Christ into our lives and to accept this
free and radical gift of salvation. Once this has been done, we now invite Jesus to be our life long Leader.
Just think - you will not only live a life of joy on this planet, but you also will live forever in heaven. That's
great news to proclaim from any mountain top!

Your friends from Willowbrook!

Willowbrook started in 2000, with just a handful of people.
Today, hundreds are attending each week. We are a community church. We are made up of all kinds of people,
from all kinds of backgrounds, with all kinds of questions about God. We are a also a contemporary and casual church
- so simply relax and be yourself. You won't be singled out in any way. In fact, we believe it will be the
greatest hour of your week! And finally, we don't take an offering during the service. Instead, we want our
service to be a gift to you. Give us a test drive this Sunday!
What We Believe
The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which
is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it bears. As the Bible
teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit each possessing all the attributes
of Deity. God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result,
we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's saving grace not
human effort and must be received personally by repentance and faith. Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity,
lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes
salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between
us and God. He will return to earth to consummate history. The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers
for personal growth and service to the church. The church's role is to glorify God and serve those in need.
At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal
fellowship with God.
Willowbrook has also started two new churches:
